Urban Decay
The Urban Decay is the decay of a city and its buildings and architecture. Most Romans lived in small, 6 story houses called "islands". Some areas were too large and crowded which created them to be unsafe. Citizens were afraid to walk the streets. Rome became too crowded for people to have "pleasant" lives. Citizens could not afford certain living areas. They were forced to live on the streets.
